Are you ready? Is your room ready to go? Are your plans together? I still have a LOT to do in my classroom… I’m hoping that it will just magically get put together!! But… I am ready for those new kiddos on the first day of school! My new Back to
School
pack is jam packed with activities, crafts, and FUN! I think the beginning of the school year is the perfect time to have a little extra F.U.N.!!!

I plan to start the year by reading First Day Jitters, making jitter juice, and completing a few jitter juice activities found in my pack!

The rest of the week we will be learning classroom rules & procedures and getting to know one another.  Let me just say…  I love the first few weeks of school!! {Even though I leave exhausted each day!!!} I really enjoy getting to know my new kiddos and forming that classroom “family”.  In this unit I have included many activities to get the students “moving” and getting to know one another.  I have also included five cute craftivities {pictured below}that can be displayed in the hallway.

*Students list the classroom rules inside the glue bottle!

This little backpack can hold all of the cute crafts!!

And last but not least…{You might think I’m CRAZY} but I make Gak and Play-dough with my kids every year! It’s messy but SO.MUCH.FUN!!!! It gives me the perfect opportunity to see how my new students interact and it also gives me the chance to teach the rules of working in a group.  I use play-dough and gak to incorporate a few reading, writing, and science activities as well!  I know I already said it but….SO.MUCH.FUN!!!!! Last year my students were still talking about making the Gak at the end of the year…so we had to make it AGAIN!

School
unit by clicking here or on the picture below!

If you haven’t already started school… enjoy what little time you have left!  I’m on my way to the pool with the kiddos!!!
